Breakfast at Marie's In Salisbury
I am grateful for this on a number of levels. This was a new place for Jim, Chris and I to try. Jim and I first came here for a fundraiser spaghetti supper and noticed the tasty sounding choices on the breakfast menu. Since breakfast is my absolutely favorite meal to go out for we decided to try something new. It did not disappoint and will definitely go into the breakfast rotation. Great food and great company was just the way to start the day.
Not Just Any Walk Along the Beach
After breakfast, we continued on towards the coast and Hampton Beach to walk off breakfast and enjoy the ocean air and beautiful weather. The beach, really almost any beach will do, is one of my favorite places but today was a bonus because there was a small group of people horseback riding along the beach. Horses and the beach- a combination of two of my favorite concepts. It was bonus day at the beach...again great and treasured company.
The Scent of Things to Come
When we arrived home from the beach there was no mistaking the lovely fragrant scent that greeted us as we walked up the front walk. The lilacs are coming. No doubt they've still a ways to go, but the leaves on the bush are starting to bud and with them is the faintest fragrance of the beauty soon to come.
Today was an easy one. If every day were just like today...ohhh..if only...
